The founding charter
ATIA grew out of the association Inter Aide, whose charter and values it respects. Unchanged since it was drafted in the 1980s, this charter is the founding basis of ATIA’s work. It sets out demanding principles that guide the design of programmes, their implementation in the field, and the management of human and financial resources. The charter thus remains a living framework that guides strategic decisions, governance and the commitment to rigour in the service of the most vulnerable populations.
