Created in 2008, ATIA is a non-profit organisation whose aim is to reduce multidimensional poverty and strengthen the capacities of the most vulnerable families through concrete development aid programmes, in close partnership with local associations that it creates and supports until they become autonomous.
ATIA was born as a spin-off of Inter Aide, which chose to grow by creating independent associations. In 2008, ATIA took over Inter Aide’s urban activities, while keeping a lean model based on proximity to the field and the gradual autonomy of local partners.
