Access to health
In deprived neighbourhoods, a lack of money and information leads many families to go without healthcare or to delay it, even going into debt to pay for treatment. And when they do get care, its quality is not always up to standard. To address this, ATIA and its partners develop health insurance and social protection, train health professionals and strengthen the health system. They also carry out community health activities and fight tuberculosis, which disproportionately affects the most disadvantaged families.
