All actions performed by ATIA are to be in line with the Inter Aide charter, and therefore ATIA strives to:

• Devote themselves exclusively to carrying out concrete development actions
• Always seek to reach the most disadvantaged families, avoiding any assistance action that could make them dependent and delay their taking responsibility
• Start from the needs on the ground, keeping a pragmatic approach to the solutions to be proposed to families in difficulty
• Acting with complete political and religious neutrality, while respecting the convictions of the beneficiary families
